Most of the millions of Christians in Mindanao came there only recently - after World War II. They were given lands which belonged to the Moros. Many of the Christians there are there only for their jobs and businesses. Remove that, and they go back to their hometowns in Luzon and Visayas. The Christians in Greenhills refused to let the Muslims there build a mosque. It was the same in Dagupan City. Why is that? If the Muslims or Moros cannot even have a mosque in Christian land, then why should the Christians decide the fate of Moros in Moroland? Even if 100% voted for independance it is the real estate and what happens to the millions of non-muslims who live there now, many, if not most were born and raised there? Why cant they vote?
